One example of our combination of manual and automated
technology is the two operational bandsaw loops in our 1,600 SF Bandsaw
Training Center. We have both a cam
driven Armstrong #4 Sharpener with Control Tower and an Armstrong
VariSharp. And coming soon is the next
generation in wet Bandsaw Sharpening, the Talon P-3 computer controlled

over to both Swaging and Benching as well.
The Technical center has both manual swage and shape tools and the
automatic Armstrong AutoSwage.
will be trained with both a manual Armstrong #81 Bench and the Simonds Model 095
Additional bandsaw equipment planned for the Technical
Center includes: plasma and resistance saw tipping machines for bandsaws,
bandsaw dual side dressing machine, bandsaw guide block milling machine and
bandmill coolant systems.
Classroom materials are nearing completion and classes will
be rolled out as the materials are complete.
Our first class focuses on swaging and shaping and is titled "Focus on Fitting". Classes will be presented by our employees
with successful saw filing experience.
Our first class will be held in March of 2019 and is sold out.
The bandsaw Training Center is completed for swage tooth bands and the first two courses, Focus on Fitting and Centered on Sharpening, have been presented. Meanwhile, equipment and course materials are underway for our 1,000 sf
Circle Saw Training Center. Equipment will be on site following the Atlanta Trade Show this summer.

schedule an appointment to come and see this equipment operate and “test drive”
