Emphasis is then on hands on application of skills presented in the classroom under the coaching of the Instructors. Students will rotate among the several available machines and work centers and must be prepared to perform the tasks presented. While the class focus will have a topic of emphasis, saw inspection, proper hand tool usage, guide arm inspection and saw design will all be included. Strong emphasis on producing good lumber, overall productivity, and cross functional interaction. Proper and safe material handling is covered in each class as well.
